We ate here on the way back from a trip to several southern states. We had trouble finding a good place to eat that wasn't trendy, but still had good reviews. This place was quaint (very old) but the food was EXCEPTIONAL. By far, some of the freshest and best seafood I've ever eaten. My Mango Plum Salmon was exceptional. My wife's Grouper also exceptional, fresh and flaky. You have to ignore the look of the place outside and inside (really old and rundown, especially the bathrooms), but the service was good (thank you Jaci!) and the food excellent, which is why you really go out to eat in the first place, right?

I had noticed for years a little restaurant tucked away in a corner of a small shopping center on Bayou Blvd and I finally decided to go. I'm ashamed that I waited soo long.
My bestie Christine and I were pleasantly surprised at how nice the inside is, nothing fancy but a very nice crowd. You can tell that quite a few people were regulars judging by how they were greeted by the staff. Our server was Charlie and he was an absolute doll, charming and very knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the almond crusted Mahi Mahi and Christine ordered the salmon. Before our food arrived Charlie brought out a basket of rolls that were tasty but just a little dry.
Our food was delicious! My fish was cooked perfectly as was Christine's. The sides were very tasty, my veggies were perfect! I don't normally have dessert but once I heard they had creme brulee I was all in. It was creamy and delicious and the crust was crunchy and absolutely delicious. Christine had an apple dessert with ice cream and it was delicious but quite filling. I tried to help her eat it but it was too much! Stop by for lunch or dinner, you will definitely enjoy your meal!

Was here this afternoon for lunch. Waitress was great, beer was nice and cold, appetiser was great. Wife had the salmon and loved it. Myself had the French dip which was good, but it was just meat and cheese.. no sauce on the bread, add some mayo or a horseradish Mayo, to elevate it. Overall very pleased and will return and recommend

The food was wonderful and there service from Julie was great. I got the surf and turf with French onion soup and it was all wonderful. We had thought of going to Texas roadhouse, but decided to go here instead and boy was that a great choice! Can't wait to go back. The restaurant looked great inside. Nice quiet place for a romantic date or nice business meal.

The best 12 Oz. New York Strip in Pensacola !!
The Oysters Rockefeller and Crab Cakes Appetizers are fantastic.
Apple Cobbler and Bread Pudding are amazing.
Christian is an excellent waiter.

Not a very big place, but that keeps the charm and atmosphere great.
Definitely recommend this place.
Best to make a reservation !!

MUST MUST MUST do! If you are in Pensacola, you HAVE to eat here at least once. I picked up my mom from the airport, and we needed a pick me up before the long trek home to Alabama. We were not disappointed! The chicken salad croissant sandwich was the best I’ve ever tasted. The croissant tasted freshly made and there weren’t any big chunks of chicken in the salad which is a positive for me. Not to mention how phenomenal their soups are! If you’re a bean lover like me, try their bean soup. If you’re a French onion lover like my mom, you must try their French onion soup! I did give the atmosphere 4 stars only because it is more cramped which causes the space to be a bit loud during peak hours, so keep that in mind if you aren’t a fan of crowded places!

This is a terrific place to grab a great lunch. I have never had the pleasure of eating dinner here but I'm sure it it wonderful as well. The food is superb in every sense. It is freshly made and delicious. The menu is varied and certainly has enough choices for most people. On some occasions it is busy enough to require a short wait time, but this, in my experience, is rare. However, please do wait - it is worth it!
