I was here on a work trip and wanted to grab something delicious, healthy and quick! I had the sushi bowl with Spicy Salmon and Tuna! The bowl was massive and I ate every bite!

I come here often for lunch but today was not a good experience. I arrived today around 3:15 pm. When I walked in the place was empty and no employees acknowledged us. We stood and waited to order for a while. One employee told us she’d be right with us after standing for a couple minutes. She continued to change trash bags for a while and never ended up helping us. Another employee that was filling up sauces came over to help us once she realized her coworkers weren’t going to help us. This girl was so sweet and after I ordered a lot of people came in and she was yelling for help but her two coworkers didn’t even acknowledge her. I did not get their names but this girl doing all the work had red curly hair. One of the other workers had dark brown hair with some highlights tied up in a bun. The other had short hair. It seemed like they were more focused on doing side work than helping their customers and treated the young girl terribly. I felt really bad for this poor girl and believe this needs to be addressed.

I’ve been living in St. Pete for almost 3 years now and literally the only three restaurants I go to are pacific counter, casita, and flat bread and butter. Pacific counter has always offered such wonderful choices and is very consistent with their work. I have always enjoyed my meal every time I go and it’s just so nice to have something so refreshing. Plus, the staff is always super nice so you can’t beat that! So thanks for being awesome (-:

This is the best poke bowl I’ve had in St. Pete!! Everything I got in my bowl was so fresh the cucumber salad was amazing so was the quality of the fish. Im a sauce girl, I drench everything in sauce I accidentally ate half of my bowl because it was so good without noticing I didn’t even put sauce on. When I added the counter sauce I almost died it was so amazing. This was my first time ordering I will absolutely be back.

In the st. Pete area for just the day and wanted some good poke, wasn't disappointed! Initially came here for the good reviews and for good reason. Super fresh tasting and very flavorful. Pretty popular spot the line can get pretty long. Long line is always a good sign in my opinion.
Means there's high demand for good food.
All of the staff were all friendly and welcoming and highly knowledgeable about their menu.
Super happy they had spam musubi and Hawaiian sun nectar drinks. 2hours from home so I won't be here too often. Wish Orlando had a Pacific counter.

So I’m not one to leave bad reviews so I’ll start with the good, the customer service was really nice and they had walked me through everything as this was my first time here. I had gotten a spicy salmon bowl and it was delicious. But I have thrown up 14 times today and I had asked my friend if they were okay too as I saw them eat a bowl as well. They said they felt nauseous so I know I’m not the only one! Anyway just wanted to let anyone know who’s reads reviews that this place is hit or miss I guess, kind of disappointing that I had to throw up a ridiculous amount of times.

Pacific counter is always such a good spot for a poke bowl or the infamous poke burrito. Choose from one of their signature bowls or get frisky and create your own. My favorite meat is the tuna and I always do half sushi rice and half noodles for my base. Pacific counter off a variety of delicious fountain drinks and kombuchas. You’ll have your food within 10min even on a busy day. The restaurant is located on central avenue next to plenty of shopping and bars. Stop by and check it out!
