I recently visited the flying biscuit after years. I enjoyed a breakfast with my dad. He enjoyed the waffles and chicken tenders. I tried the pancake taco. It was delicious! I enjoyed all the flavors and it was a hearty meal. My only issue is it was loud. Made it difficult to have a conversation. Our server great though.

I went here on 11/30/2024. This is the location to go to. Hrs are 7:00-2:00 Mon-Fri. Sat Sun 7:00-4:00 I learned after leaving work at 1:30 thinking I was going to dine in on a weekday. I used to go to Mclendon Ave location for years. I took my mom and sister there. I searched recently and saw that the only location I visited had closed. It's been a minute since I visited. I only used to get The Award winning shrimp and grits by the whole plate. This time I got a half order and I wanted to try something I never had before. I got the chicken sausage and 2 biscuits and chicken sausage gravy. The biscuits come with apple butter. One biscuit comes with the shrimp and grits. I actually made sandwiches with my chicken sausage on my biscuits putting chicken sausage gravy on the bottom of the biscuits with the sausage above and apple butter under the top of the biscuits. My compliments to the chef. I also had a great server named Melissa. She has purple hair you can't miss her.

Ordered online, went to pick the order up. Got inside the staff never greeted or acknowledged customers waiting at the door. After 15 minutes I asked them as they gathered in the order area and asked can I pick up my food? The one female had an attitude as if I offended her by asking who can help me. The 3 of them walked by several times. The other lady came asked my name gave the food I left.

Got home the eggs were burned so bad and hard. I asked for over hard not BURNED. The sausage was rock hard and grits horrible like they are old and premade in the bowls. French toast okay but after the rock hard sausage and burned eggs I couldnt eat that. I will never order here again. The first time was the same and I thought they may have had a bad day. NOPE. Pictures in after plating what I thought was salvageable. Potatoes were ok with seasoning.

Recently visited flying biscuit toco hills, and it was my first time at flying biscuit. Completely loved the food, the staff and pretty much everything.

Staff was very courteous and polite.
The ambiance was colourful and vibrant, uplifted my mood tbh.

We tried their May specials- Churro French toast, so delectable. Hitting all the right spots.
Chilaquiles- Must try! Absolutely a perfect brunch meal.
Hot-lantic burger- My new favourite, spicy tangy and delicious.
3 amigos tacos - you wouldn’t stop eating these! In sides we had potatoes and enjoyed it.
Waffle & spicy chicken - Omg, I can’t tell you the chicken was so tender, flavours were bang on ?
Biscuits were so soft and buttery.
Highly recommend trying this place for southern style food.
Mimosa flights is a great option to pair your food. We liked pineapple and peach ?
The complex has plenty of free parking, they also have a lot of vegan friendly options as well.

Attention all breakfast lovers! Flying Biscuit Cafe just launched a mouthwatering new menu featuring two must-try dishes: Churro French Toast and Steak Chilaquiles.

Imagine thick slices of bread dipped in a cinnamon sugar batter, grilled to crispy perfection, then drizzled with warm chocolate sauce and topped with fresh, sliced bananas – that's the sweet symphony of their Churro French Toast. Craving something savory? The Steak Chilaquiles will tantalize your taste buds! Picture thick, homemade tortilla chips simmered in salsa verde, overflowing with melty queso, then topped with tender marinated steak, sunny-side up eggs, and a symphony of fresh flavors like white cheddar cheese, avocado, and cilantro.

Of course, Flying Biscuit Cafe is still a haven for classic Southern breakfast comfort food. Their legendary buttermilk chicken tenders are even better when ordered extra hot. Don't forget their creamy mac and cheese, spicy vegan collard greens, the hearty Piedmont Omelet, and the delightful Mini Shrimp & Grits.

Bonus tip: Select locations, like the Sandy Springs and Toco Hills locations offer adult beverages, including mimosa flights, for those who want to elevate their brunch experience.

Flying Biscuit Cafe truly caters to all cravings, with breakfast and lunch available all day long. So, whether you're an early bird or a late riser, there's always a delicious reason to visit!

I just had the most amazing experience at Flying Biscuit Cafe in Toco Hills, and I'm already planning my next visit. Their menu is packed with classic Southern comfort food, but they also have some exciting new additions.

The star of the show for me was definitely the April Spring Chicken Scramble! This limited-time dish features egg whites scrambled with grilled chicken, cheddar cheese, mushrooms, spinach, peppers, and onions, all topped with a homemade tomato coulis. It's the perfect balance of protein, veggies, and flavor – a must-try!

But of course, I had to indulge in some Flying Biscuit favorites too. I treated myself to a Mimosa Flight (because, brunch!), Pancake Tacos (seriously delicious!), Creamy Dreamy Grits (sooooo good!), the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich (with just the right amount of spice!), the Fried Green Tomato Sandwich (a Southern classic), Hangover Hash (perfect for those mornings you need a pick-me-up), and their ever-so-delicious Grilled Mac and Cheese.

We were here this past Saturday for my niece birthday breakfast. All I can say is I don't understand all the rave reviews. I'll start with the coffee. My sister and I both agree that it had a strange taste. SHe said it tasted more like espresso but I'm not sure. She ordered chicken and waffle and the waffle was very light, almost not fully cooked, and she likes her waffle a little darker than that. She thought maybe it got a little soggy from the chicken put on top of it. I did not enjoy my shrimp and grits, definitely have had better. My youngest granddaughter loves pancakes, but did not enjoy this pancake. My other granddaughter had scrambled eggs and the oatmeal, and she enjoyed neither one. I tasted the oatmeal, and wasn't a fan either, seems like it was barely cooked. My niece liked her grits, and my granddaughter liked the apple butter that was brought out for the hard biscuit, which had some sugar sprinkled on top of it. Neither one of the girls wanted the biscuit. I ate the top of it that was sprinkled with the sugar, otherwise it was just too dry. But she ate the apple butter out of the little container it came in. Overall I wasn't impressed and probably won't be back.

Today is the first time that I dined at the Flying Biscuit. It is a decent brunch place in the Toco Hills Shopping Center. They do offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. They also offer outdoor seating as well. I order their plant based burger and it came with a side of kettle chips. The burger was pretty good. The service was a little mediocre though. I have worked in the restaurant industry for five years my and server really did not give me much of an inviting greet. He kind of just came up to me asked me what I wanted to drink without any type of introduction as to who he was. Once I ordered my food and he delivered it I didn’t see him again until he dropped off my check. It was just kind of an odd way of serving your table. But I will still give this place another try as there are other options on their menu I would like to try.
