### The short rib was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, melting in my mouth with each bite. The chicken was a standout as well, boasting a perfectly crispy exterior while remaining juicy and moist on the inside. Complementing the delicious food, the drinks were superb, expertly crafted and refreshing. The ambiance and service only added to the exceptional dining experience. Highly recommend!

I am from out of town and wanted an upscale good quality restaurant with a nice atmosphere. This place was exactly what I was looking for. The bar made fantastic cocktails ? the waiter was very nice. The steaks and Frites was amazing and cooked just like I asked for- Rare ? also got their version of an espresso martini also very good. Cannot wait to come back here highly recommended the gunpowder fizz.

First time visit for a good, quiet brunch. Not busy at all. Service was excellent—our server coursed out our meal, which was appreciated. Croque madame and eggs benedict were very good. I was disappointed, however, in the price of the mimosa bottle at over $30. Should’ve known better when it wasn’t listed on the menu. Not somewhere I’d go to imbibe much for sure. Otherwise value was decent, especially considering the elevated service and space.

Celebrated early Father’s Day, made reservations for 8. Atmosphere and service were fantastic. Started the table with several brunch cocktails, a 3 orders of biscuits, delicious!

We ordered Bbq shrimp and grits, the seasonal frittata, Cobb salad, and croque Madame. The portion sizes were astonishing! Huge! The menu was great, lots of options and all reasonably priced.

Nestled in the heart of this bustling restaurant row, just a stone's throw from the cat café, lies an eatery that beckons with promise, yet delivers in a somewhat uneven fashion. The atmosphere, undeniably inviting, is complemented by a staff whose warmth and attentiveness cannot be overstated. From the moment you cross the threshold, you are embraced by an earnest desire to ensure your satisfaction. And yet, for all this charm, the culinary offerings tell a tale of missed opportunities.

Take the fried goat cheese with tomato jam, for instance—a dish that soars beyond expectation. The contrast of the rich, tangy cheese against the sweet, piquant jam is a masterstroke, a harmonious marriage that lingers on the palate and begs for a return visit. But such highs make the lows all the more pronounced. A Caesar salad, limp and woefully dressed in a sauce that veered closer to mayonnaise than the bracing punch of a true Caesar, was a disappointment best forgotten. And then, the steak frites with chimichurri—competently cooked but sabotaged by a condiment that had lost its soul in the chill of a refrigerator. Freshness, the essence of a good chimichurri, was conspicuously absent.

In the end, this is a place worth revisiting, though with caution and a discerning eye. There is brilliance to be found here, but it requires careful selection to uncover it.

Celebrated my birthday at The Public Bistro. I enjoyed my meal (salmon atop of risotto with a side of carrots) and dessert (creme brulee). For the table, crab cakes were ordered (two came with the order). Dinner guests thoroughly enjoyed them.

A good friend and colleague was returning to Japan so we held a small 送別会 Farewell Party. The atmosphere, food, drinks and service was just as expected, top tier. Thank you for making his evening that much more enjoyable!

Wow, our first meal was amazing.
We got there at 5pm after a nice walk around the zoo. We ordered just about everything on the happy hour menu because there were too many things we couldn’t resist trying. Maggie took great care of us and all the staff were friendly and attentive. Get the fried goat cheese, deviled eggs, Brussel sprouts and biscuits. They were all amazing.
We will be back soon to try entrees. The dessert menu had enticing options, but we had filled ourselves up.
See you again soon Public Bistro, thank you for an incredible meal.
